Welcome, I'm Kate! I live with my family on Harstine Island, north of Shelton, WA. I was born and raised in the PNW and love gardening, hiking and adventuring in the woods and mountains.

I was first inspired to take photos of my two daughters who never stop moving, especially when a camera comes out! Instead of trying to force them to change their behavior, I've learned to adapt and take photos of their interactions with their surroundings and loved ones instead.
My approach is all about creating a comfortable environment, giving simple cues and allowing clients to make it their own. This is true whether it be a family, a small business owner working on their craft, or an adventurer hiking to an awe-inspiring vantage point.
